Frequently Asked Questions

We ship either by USPS priority mail or UPS from zip code 29201.  Add  three days for personalization to the ship time for your area to estimate delivery.   If you need something by a particular date, please let us know when placing your order.  If we cannot accommodate your request we will contact you prior to processing the order.  During certain times of the year, usually May, November and December our sales volume increases and additional processing time may be necessary. 

Items can be returned within two weeks for a full refund, less shipping, provided the item is in its original packaging and condition.  We cannot accept returns on personalized items unless the item is materially flawed, defective or we have made a mistake in the personalization.  We will be happy to issue a replacement or a full refund in these cases.  We encourage you to ship all returns via insured for protection against loss or damage.  Unfortunately, we cannot refund shipping costs.  Return shipping costs re the responsibility of the customer.  If a returned item is found to be have been used a refund cannot be issued and the customer will need to pay shipping to have the item returned to them.   All sale items are final and non-refundable.

It is our policy to make our personalized gifts look fabulous!  If you would like us to offer suggestions let us know in the comments section and we will contact you.  If you want us to use our best judgment just tell us to choose – let us know the gender of the recipient so that an appropriate font will be chosen.

We have many more products in our store than is possible for us to put on our website.  If you have seen something in our store that you would like to purchase, please contact us and we will make the necessary arrangements.

Yes, indicate in the comments section that you would like to have this item wrapped.  We will need your credit card billing address to authenticate your billing information.  You will need to provide the shipping instructions in the comments section.

Yes.  We will let you know when your order is ready for you to pick up.

Uptown recently set up an online gift registry! All you need to do is give us a call at 803-661-7651 or send an email to info@uptownsc.com with your site username and we will set you up for a gift registry! 

Uptown tries to stay ecofriendly whenever we can. As a result, we reuse the boxes that we get our items shipped to us in! This saves money for us and for you--it cuts down on the packaging costs for both of us! We only use boxes that are in a shippable condition; you can rest assured that your item will get to you without any damage.
